Art Biography
Lilibeth Kindle, also known as “Betha Bach,” has been creating fine art paintings since she was three years old. She was born in Davao City, Philippines, in a humble home of an artsy family. “Betha” is her nickname, and “Bach” is a shortened version of her surname, Bacharpa, before she was married. Though she had no formal art training, Betha is entirely self-taught in multiple art forms, including sculpture, mixed media, graphics, and all painting mediums. She attributes much of her art training to her aunt, who owned a fabric painting business for over eight years. Throughout the Philippines and overseas, she was commissioned for many art projects.
Betha believes that God blessed her with her artistic abilities and wants to honor Him through her art. Her spirit was inspired to fulfill her artistic talents after she stumbled upon Exodus 31:3 while reading the Bible: “I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.”
Betha Bach moved to the USA and started doing more fine art compositions using coffee as her art medium, and from time to time did colorful pieces using traditional art mediums. Most of her art compositions have a symbolic biblical component. She is passionate about dreams and visions as a way of how God speaks to His children. Betha’s painting has powerful messages as her art process comes from her overflow of praise and worship to God. This is not just an art piece to be shown, but moreover, an art piece to be shared with the world that brings the spoken word of God through art.
As Betha does full-time ministry with her husband, she brought with her God’s vision for her artistic talent in the mission field, as well as her knowledge of multimedia. She hopes to use her talent to share God’s word, help grow in her ministry worldwide, and teach art to children, especially in orphanages and for art healing ministry. She envisions her art pieces being used as tools in raising funds for Christian ministry projects. These are just a few of her desires for what her art pieces will be used for.
Heart of Worship
After more than 25 years of a full-time career dedicated to artistry, I have been blessed to come to a realization that has changed the trajectory of my journey forever. I have come to understand that all the skills and works that I have accomplished thus far are inconsequential without the guidance and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. My faith and love for God compel me to serve others, and I depict that through the use of my talents and spiritual gifts that have been entrusted to me. Through this, I am able to reach out to the people around me, including my community, friends, and family in a meaningful way, inspiring them and providing them with an open door to embracing the gospel’s good news. It is my conviction in the power of the gospel and the redeeming grace of Jesus that has enabled me to attract people to God, thereby allowing them to see and experience the transformative work of the Holy Spirit firsthand. I am deeply committed to allowing God’s wisdom, Biblical teachings, and the Holy Spirit to inspire me as I continue to create artworks that celebrate His greatness, for truly, God is the greatest artist, and His creations are the ultimate masterpieces.
