“The Carousel Of Life” by Betha Bach
Our spinning thoughts can be like a carousel that may be going nowhere when it’s not submitted to the will of God. This painting is inspired by my journey towards understanding more about the broken souls and people who have experienced chronic trauma. Our identity in Christ and how God sees us is vital and when we receive revelation and understanding of who we are there is true freedom here. In the painting there is a woman who is wearing a gown, this symbolizes how God sees me. I am His bride and he loves me! This sets me free from all the lies the enemy had put in my head and the lies I believed in myself for a long time. Notice that there is a big head on the top of the carousel symbolizes that if we constantly look to God and be in His presence there is always freedom. The ground was also splitting and about to crumble, this was the result of how God will break down the ground that isn’t established from Him. 2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.[] For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.[] For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
